We lived in our tiny house, Little Leavenworth, for one year: July 2015 to July 2016. This blog documents our experience.
About the house
Our tiny house on wheels is 131 square feet and on an 8 ft. x 20 ft. trailer. It’s a Tumbleweed Amish Barn Raiser and modified Elm. When we bought the barn raiser in April 2014, we thought we could finish building it ourselves.
We were wrong.
Our house was completed in June 2015 by Molecule Tiny Homes. It’s our very own Molecule-Tumbleweed hybrid (a Moleweed?!).
About this site
These posts aren’t focused on tiny house building, minimal living, selling products, or anything like that. There are tons of blogs that already do this, and plenty of people who have been living in small spaces for decades. We aren’t experts in any aspect of tiny house living, although we’re happy to tell you what we’ve learned from our experience.
